Designed by Foster+Partners, the structure draws inspiration from Cambodia’s historical and architectural heritage while adhering to sustainable development standards.
The structure, designed by Fenwick Iribarren, is modular and constructed from 974 containers, making it fully demountable and reusable. It also integrates systems for energy and water optimization. As a result, the stadium has been awarded the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) 5-star certification for both design and construction.
Long Thanh International Airport is currently under construction in Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province, approximately 40 kilometers east of Ho Chi Minh City. With a capacity of up to 100 million passengers per year upon completion of all three phases, it is set to become Vietnam’s largest airport in the future.
