PH Eco Mall is being built on a 6-hectare site as part of the Grand Star Platinum project, an investment by Borey Peng Huoth Group with a total cost of $200 million. The design aims to balance environmental friendliness with a shopping experience inspired by traditional Khmer architecture.

The structure, designed by Fenwick Iribarren, is modular and constructed from 974 containers, making it fully demountable and reusable. It also integrates systems for energy and water optimization.
